Celebrating Harmony Week at Appoint with Food, Culture and Connection!

At Appoint, we know a great workplace is built on more than just skills and experience, it’s about people. And what better way to bring people together than with good food and great conversation?

This Harmony Week, we’re celebrating inclusivity and connection with a shared lunch. Everyone will bring a dish that represents their culture, a favourite family recipe, or simply something they love, because food has a way of sparking conversations and bringing people together. It’s a chance to step away from the usual routine, share stories and have some fun.

Why Does Harmony Week Matter?

Harmony Week (18-24 March 2025) is all about inclusivity, respect, and belonging for everyone, no matter their background. In Australia, we’re fortunate to have a mix of cultures and this week is a great reminder of how diversity strengthens workplaces, communities and friendships.

In recruitment, we see firsthand how diverse teams drive creativity and success. Different perspectives bring new ideas, and workplaces where everyone feels valued lead to higher engagement and collaboration.

Let’s Keep the Spirit of Harmony Going

While Harmony Week is a fantastic time to highlight inclusion and belonging, it’s something we aim for every day at Appoint. Whether we’re supporting clients, candidates, or each other, we believe that respect and appreciation for different perspectives make us better at what we do.

So, let’s celebrate the people, cultures and connections that make our team unique. And if you’re reading this, why not take a moment to appreciate the diversity in your own workplace? Maybe even organise your own shared lunch – you won’t regret it!

Happy Harmony Week from all of us at Appoint!
